Longyue Wang
Research Fellow @ NLP Centre, Tencent AI Lab
Longyue is a senior research fellow at Tencent AI Lab. He has received the B.Sc. degree in network engineering in 2011, and the M.Sc. degree in software engineering in 2014. From 2015 to 2018, he pursued Ph.D. at Dublin City University, supervised under Prof. Qun Liu and Prof. Andy Way. In 2018, he was awarded the Ph.D. degree in computer applications, and achieved the Best Thesis Award by the European Association for Machine Translation (EAMT).
Longyue has studied and practiced in a broad field of Artificial Intelligence especially on Large Language Model, Multimodal, Language Agent, Natural Language Processing, Machine Translation, Deep Learning and AI for Science. He has published 60 papers in leading NLP journals and conferences. He has filed for 50 U.S., HK, Japan and China patents. In academic competitions, he has secured 6 championships and 8 runner-up positions. Besides, he has leveraged technical innovations to develop popular AI products.
